What’s in Season

We work with the British growing season, choosing flowers and foliage at their natural best. Our selection changes throughout the year depending on the weather, our growers and what’s looking particularly good.

Spring (March–May)
Tulips, narcissi, ranunculus, anemones, stocks, early foliage and blossom branches.

Summer (June–August)
Sweet peas, cosmos, alliums, scabious, larkspur, fennel and carrot flower, early dahlias, roses, foxgloves, hydrangeas, scented garden foliage.

Autumn (September–November)
Dahlias, hydrangeas, scabious, amaranthus, rudbeckia, seed heads, late-summer grasses, rich foliage.

Winter (December–February)
Ranunculus, anemones, hellebores, stocks, evergreen and berried foliage, dried elements where fresh is limited.

We use British-grown flowers and foliage wherever the season allows, alongside stems grown on our own allotment. The flowers listed above are a guide rather than a recipe — every bouquet will be a little different.

How to Care for your Flowers

Unpack your bouquet
Gently lift the flowers from their packaging and remove the paper wrap and water/hydration pouch.

Keep the design intact
Leave the string tied — it holds your handcrafted arrangement together.

Prepare the stems
Trim stems at an angle (and split any woody stems with scissors) to help them drink. Cut to suit your vase.

Fill your vase
Use fresh lukewarm water (filtered is even better), filling high enough to reach all stems, including shorter ones tucked inside the arrangement. When in doubt, fill to where the bouquet is tied.

Find the right home
Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, draughts, radiators, and air conditioning to help them last longer.

Keep water clean
Change the water every 2–3 days and re-trim the stems to extend their life.

With proper care, your bouquet should last 5–7 days. Individual stems may fade at different times — you may need to untie the bouquet to remove any dying flowers as the bouquet ages.
